Friday, May 26, 2023, on the 5th floor of the Ir Building. Soekarno UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Faculty of Economics, held a socialization on Field Work Practices (PKL) with the theme “Students’ Professional Abilities in Facing the World of Work Facing Challenges in the Era of Disruption and Revolution 5.0”. This activity invited two speakers, namely Rr. Suci Palasari, S.E., M.M. As Manager of BAZNAS Microfinance Sawojajar and Yurinda Mardiana Maulidah A.S. S.E., M.M. as Chief Operating Officer Pie Ngalam.

In his remarks, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. Indah Yuliana, S.E., M.M., said that this is the first bridge for a student before actually entering official work at an institution. “Hopefully, this event will bring blessings and benefits to all of us,” he said.

Dr. Nihayatu Aslamatis Solekah, M.M. moderated the next material presentation; this was exciting and lively because it broke the record. A total of approximately 500 students attended this activity. Suci Palasari, on his occasion, explained the importance of digital platforms today, such as social media, which includes Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, WhatsApp, and YouTube. Apart from that, students are still required to have soft skills in today’s modern era. “The benefits of soft skills include being professional, thinking innovatively and creatively, being credible, and having extensive relationships.” Said these alumni of the Faculty of Economics majoring in management.
